Let’s round ’em up, Grimmlins!
A mini trip this time, starting with QUICKSAND….
Due on Shudder this summer, the film sees an American couple, on the brink of divorce, travel to Colombia for a work conference. While on a hike through the rainforest, a storm causes them to become trapped in a pit of quicksand. Unable to move, it becomes a struggle for survival as they battle the elements of the jungle and a venomous snake, in order to escape.
“Making QUICKSAND was such a thrilling and challenging experience. I hope people can relate to the intense emotions Carolina and Allan portrayed so well,” said director Andrés Beltrán (TARUMAMA) in a statement. “We shot the film on location, in a cold forest in the mountains of Colombia. Although the weather conditions were harsh for the actors and crew, we kept enjoying the process because we wanted to tell this story as real as possible.”
Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role, the R-rated film KRAVEN THE HUNTER “is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be and is set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man”.
From director J.C Chandor, this also stars Ariana DeBose, Christopher Abbott, Levi Miller (Grimmfest hit BETTER WATCH OUT), Alessandro Nivola and Russell Crowe!
Samuel Bodin, creator of Netflix horror hit Marianne, is back with COBWEB –
“Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?”
