The 10th installment in the SAW franchise was due on 27th October, but Lionsgate have moved it forward an entire month to 29th September!
We’ll be playing those games a whole lot sooner, and above we have a first look at Tobin Bell’s return to the series.
Lionsgate teases, “The return of Tobin Bell to the franchise furthers Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ goal of a film that captures everything SAW fans love about the franchise, while also keeping them guessing with all-new traps and a new mystery to solve.”
Deadline further details, “In the Twisted Pictures next installment, John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back, and it’s the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games.”
“Set between the events of SAW and SAW II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. The infamous killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.”
