Arrow Video have announced they’re bringing Pinhead and pals to 4K with a new boxset!
The upcoming set features the following HELLRAISER movies:
- HELLRAISER (1987)
- HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II (1988)
- HELLRAISER III: HELL ON EARTH (1992)
- HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE (1996)
The never-before-seen version of the 1996 sequel, directed by Kevin Yagher, “provides a fascinating insight into how it changed during post production.” The initial cut of the movie ran 110 minutes long, but the studio executives at Miramax demanded major changes that resulted in Yagher departing the project. The final cut ultimately ended up running 85 minutes long, and Yagher was so unhappy with the finished product that he took his name off the movie. That’s why BLOODLINE is credited to the fake director “Alan Smithee.”
This beauty is due for release on 23rd October, and is available for pre-order right now!
