Why is little Mikey terrified of his mother? Maybe it’s because of the evil inside her? Mikey’s night terrors become reality when his mother begins showing signs of demonic possession. What he’s about to experience will haunt him for the rest of his life and claim countless lives across generations.

Director Pierre Tsigaridis and producer Maxime Rancon (TWO WITCHES) will present and Q&A.

Grimmfest Says: Pierre Tsigaridis makes a welcome return to Grimmfest, with this startling all-star follow up to 2021’s TWO WITCHES; a wild, weird, and totally wired tale of cursed artifacts, demonic possession, incestuous abuse, and an unstoppable, possibly inhuman killer. Combining elements of “found footage”, slasher movie, giallo, and Satanic Panic with a pitch-perfect parody of lurid True Crime shows and their self-serving morally bankrupt producers, it’s a cinematic love letter to horror cinema in all its forms, and sees Tsigardis mixing and matching disparate genre tropes with the dexterity of a DJ at the decks, playing the various narrative strands and stylistic shifts off against one another, building mood and marshalling effects for maximum impact, confidently claiming his place as one of contemporary horror cinema’s most exciting, cine-literate, and genre-savvy of auteurs.
