The Plaza Super Cinema, Stockport, 3rd October

This year we pre-empt the official festival at Manchester’s Dancehouse Theatre with a special preview night at the Plaza Super Cinema, in Stockport. Were very proud to be hosting this great double bill. The Northern Premiere of nail biting haunted house shocker SINISTER starring Ethan Hawke and the Northern premiere of brilliant new indie AMERICAN MARY, the much anticipated new film from the Soska twins.

If you haven’t been to the Plaza before, this is something special! With state of the art projection facilities, over 1000 seats and a huge screen, a trip to this art deco gem is what cinema was always meant to be! Sure to be a brilliant start to this long weekend of horror, we’ll have a few surprizes in store for you and the odd special celeb guest! Were excited already!

* Please note that festival passholders get 50% off full entry price!

Transport

The Plaza Super Cinema is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station (Stockport), with regular trains running from Manchester Piccadilly. Adjacent to the train station is both the Stockport Bus Station and Chestergate taxi rank. For further transport and location information click here.

Parking

Designated on-street parking is available in most of the streets surrounding the Plaza and this is free of charge after 6.00pm. Parking is also available on the Princes Street Car Park or Grand Central Car Park adjacent to Stockport Train Station.
