A grim, fast-paced, and paranoid riff on the perennially popular “military men on a mission meet monsters in the dark” movie genre, this tense, claustrophobic SF shocker from Down Under manages a fair few new twists in its telling, twisting seemingly familiar tropes into something suddenly unfamiliar, unpredictable and unexpected, while still delivering the requisite kick ass action and gory mayhem.
